Where we are...

Located at the end of the Bahamas island chain, the Turks and Caicos Islands is a small idyllic collection of low lying atolls set amongst turquoise blue waters. With a booming tourist based economy and strong construction growth, the islands are a short 1 hour 20m flight from Miami, within easy reach of the East Coast of both the US and Canada. The TCIRFU is a the sole rugby club in the country and plays host to visiting teams, as well as regularly attending Caribbean wide tournaments and arranging friendly tours.

Providenciales - is the main island and tourist hub. The site of the country's main international airport, Provo (as it is commonly known as) is a long, low-lying island at the west of the Turks group. Home to world famous Grace Bay, which doubles as the rugby clubs summer training venue, Providenciales is a world renowned, internationally recognised tourist destination. With plenty of water based activities, there is no shortage of pre and post match entertainment for visiting sides. Interisland excursions, boat trips and BBQs on the beach are just some of the activities on offer. The numerous island resorts offer fishing, paragliding, sailing, diving, and along with independent tourist operators this provides a comprehensive array of leisure activities.

How to get here:
American Airlines,Continental, Delta, JetBlue, US Airways, Air Canada, Bahamas Air and British Airways all offer scheduled services to Providenciales throughout the year from North America, the Bahamas and the UK. Additionally a local carrier, Air Turks & Caicos offers domestic and limited international services to Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and Haiti. Accommodations - As a major international resort destination, there is no shortage of high quality accommodation on the island. The Touring Experience
Whilst the initial cost of arranging a trip to the Turks may appear higher than other touring destinations we can assure you that the value for money will exceed your expectations. A typical itinerary of past tourists includes:

Thursday - being met on arrival at Providenciales International airport by club representatives with refreshments, and being transported to your accommodation with a scenic tour en route
Thursday night - a night out with the TCI RFU members
Friday - a discounted round of golf on the lovely Provo Golf Club or day at the beach
Friday night - a match against the local club side
Friday night - after-match function and night out with the TCI RFU members
Saturday - a beach rugby tournament - tackle or touch (tourists' choice)
Saturday evening - beach BBQ or trip on the Atabeyra (a local sloop)
Sunday - transport and escort back to Providenciales Airport for return trip home
